The Gilbert & Sullivan Archive
The Gilbert and Sullivan Archive describes itself as a website “devoted to the operas and other works of W. S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan … The Archive … includes a variety of Gilbert and Sullivan related items, including clip art, librettos, plot summaries, pictures of the original Gilbert and Sullivan stars, song scores, midi and mpeg audio files, and newsletter articles.” It further describes itself as the “‘home’ site for all Gilbert and Sullivan related activities on the Internet,” and states that “links from the Archive lead to many other Gilbert and Sullivan sites, and to other opera and arts related Internet sites.”
Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia
Wikipedia is the multilingual, internet based, free-content encyclopedia project, written collaboratively primarily by anonymous volunteers who contribute to the on-line encyclopedia freely. Among the thousands of articles in Wikipedia are articles about Gilbert and Sullivan, as well as articles about each of their operettas.
